Chien-Shiung Wu

Chien-Shiung was born in China in 1912. She went to a school that her father started because he believed in education for girls. As a teenager she read a biography of Marie Curie and was so inspired that she taught herself physics in her spare time. She moved to America in 1936 and specialised in research into radioactivity. She was known as the First Lady of Physics. Send this card to a promising scientist or someone who works in STEM.
